On September 22, at the Korston Hotel and Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting, which summed up the results of the Congress of managing companies and residents of industrial parks held during the forum "A Glimpse to the Future".
Speaking at the event, Executive Director of the Association of Industrial Parks Denis Zhuravsky noted that 10 per cent of all industrial parks in Russia are located in Tatarstan. At the same time, 32 per cent (677 enterprises) of the country’s residents are operating in these parks in the republic. The speaker urged to continue investing in the establishment of industrial parks.
Tatarstan President appreciated the success of the programme for the operation of industrial sites. "I am very pleased that we have managed to move with this issue forward. We used to talk about our large sites, such as the Master Kama Industrial Park and Himgrad, which were initiated by the republic. Today our regional heads who are interested in creating industrial sites are present here. The most important thing is that we have private investors, due to which the proportion of our investments is rather small. As a result, new jobs are created. The appearance of such sites in rural areas is changing the mentality of people," Tatarstan President said.
