Goals and objectives

 Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan provides the uniform financial, budgetary and tax policy in the Republic of Tatarstan and coordinates the activities of other executive bodies in this field.

The objectives of the Ministry are:
- to ensure the implementation of a uniform financial, budgetary, fiscal and monetary policy in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- to ensure the implementation of common policies in the development of financial markets in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- to concentrate financial resources on priority areas of social and economic development;
- to maintain established budget procedures of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- to report on the financial performance of Tatarstan and the consolidated budget of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- to develop and implement programs of state loans.

The Ministry performs the following functions:
- prepares proposals and implement improvements of fiscal systems and intergovernmental relations of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- participates in the process of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan in the long, medium and short terms;
- involves in the development and implementation of financial recovery and economic restructuring, promotion and protection of the interests of domestic producers of goods, works and services;
- involves in the preparation of proposals for key areas of credit, monetary policy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the improvement of settlements and payments in the economy;
- monitors the payments of large taxpayers;
- involves in the process of the national programs development, provides their financing from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan;
- develops measures aimed at ensuring the implementation of investment policy in the Republic of Tatarstan;
- involves in the development and financing of national investment programs;
- participates in the drafting of the laws of Republic Tatarstan and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tatarstan, etc.
