The state Duma adopted in the first reading amendments to the law on the budget for 2017. It is planned that the amendments will be adopted on October 27 along with the first reading of the draft budget for 2018 and the planning period 2019-2020.

The bill provides for the correction the main characteristics of the budget. Thus, the revenues increase to 14,720.3 billion rubles (previously approved in the amount of 14,678.8 billion rubles), the expenditure - up to 16,728.4 billion rubles (previously approved in the amount of 16,602.6 billion rubles). The deficit is projected in the amount of 2 008.1 billion rubles (planned 1 923.8 billion rubles).
