On November 10, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Commission to reivew applications to conclude an agreement for doing business in the Territory for Advanced Economic Development “Naberezhnye Chelny”.
In particular, the Commission considered an investment project for establishing a plant for the production of agricultural towed vehicles submitted by the Tekhnika-Agro Company.
Making a presentation of the project, CEO of the Tekhnika-Agro Company Ilshat Vakhitov said that the amount of investments in the project is about 77 million roubles, including own and borrowed funds. It is planned to produce a deep tiller, a hydraulic tooth towing unit, a universal carrier and other equipmnet, with Russian regions being sales market and Russian companies being main suppliers of materials. The project will create 80 new jobs. The members of the Commission were presented an investment development plan until 2022.
The representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic, the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, the regional department of the Federal Tax Service expressed their opinions on the investment project, which was approved. It is expected that the implementation of this investment project will have a positive impact on the diversification of the economy of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
Speaking at the meeting, Pesoshin said that a total of 15 applications for receiving the status of residents of Territory for Advanced Economic Development "Naberezhnye Chelny" have been approved, with the total amount of investments making about 20 billion roubles.
