On November 21, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of awarding laureates and diploma winners of the 13th Open Regional Contest for Quality Awards of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan following results of 2017.
In his opening speech, Pesoshin noted that Tatarstan is one of the few regions of Russia where a quality contest is held regularly.
According to the prime minister, the awarding ceremony is a visible result of the work of labour collectives, the professionalism of teams of like-minded people and partners, the innovative thinking of senior executives and daily work for the benefit of the development of their organizations and the republic as a whole.
The contest for quality awards of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is in constant development, Pesoshin said. "The system for assessing the performance of enterprises has proved its effectiveness. I am especially pleased that the laureates of our contest are recognized not only in Tatarstan, but in Russia and abroad. This means that the regional competition is appreciated,” he noted.
As noted at the event, a total of 69 organizations were selected to participate in the competition, including six organizations located outside the republic. As a result of the contest, ten organizations were awarded the title of laureates in the nomination "Business Excellence" and "Production Systems". Also, a number of enterprises were handed in special diplomas.
Summing up, Pesoshin congratulated the winners of the contest and announced the start of the next 14th quality contest.
