As of November 24, 2017, more than 2,000,000 square meters of housing or 100.2 per cent as compared to the same period last year commissioned in Tatarstan

On November 25, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all regions of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irez Faizullin reported that as of November 24, 2017, as many as 2,012,700 square meters of housing, which makes 100.2 per cent as compared to the same period last year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

Reporting about workplace safety inspections at construction sites, Faizullin said that since the beginning of the year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 1,694 inspections and issued 474 decisions for the sum of 14,040,000 roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

He continued that 146 houses for 6,668 apartments with an area of 378,800 square meters have been put into operation under the social mortgage programme.

As part of the implementation of the rights of orphans and children left without parental care, the process of purchasing 305 residential accommodations in the republic's ownership is underway. As of November 25, 2017, the republic have bought 203 apartments and provided orphans with housing under residential lease agreements.

The minister also reported that the regional programme of construction of rural clubs have been fully completed, with 31 facilities have been built.

Major repairs at 26 facilities of the State Veterinary Service of the republic and 15 facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic have been finished as well, Faizullin continued.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov asked to focus on the broader coverage of the information on the implementation of the regional programmes and the progress made in the construction of social facilities, rural clubs, sports facilities in the municipal regions of the republic.
