On December 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Moscow to attend the sixth annual conference “100 Steps Towards Favorable Investment Climate”, which was organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the TASS news agency.
Heads of federal executive bodies, leaders of Russian regions, senior executives of state companies, leading experts and analysts also took part in the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is ready to share its own experience and adopt the practices of the regions in developing the business environment and creating a favorable investment climate. According to him, it is important to start work at the level of municipalities. "Therefore, we have the rating of municipalities in our region," Minnikhanov said.
At the same time, Minnikhanov stressed the need to train both entrepreneurs and officials. According to him, special programmes developed for entrepreneurs have positive effects.
He continued that it is important to meet entrepreneurs, to discuss topical issues with them to monitor the situation and to find qualified specialists who can manage infrastructure facilities for entrepreneurship such as industrial parks, innovative sites.
Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that today’s conference will be useful to everyone.
