Rustam Minnikhanov sums up the results of work in 2017 at TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex

On December 22, during his working visit to Nizhnekamsk municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited TANECO Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex.

At the TANECO industrial site, Tatarstan President got acquainted with the progress of construction and commissioning works at a number of production facilities of the Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex.

Speaking at a meeting on the results of work in 2017 held afterwards, Head of the Department for the implementation of construction projects of Tatneft Oil Compnay Albert Nurmiyev reported on the construction of new facilities. In particular, he noted that in 2017 the Department carried out works at several large-scale ongoing projects, with more than 28 billion roubles spent.

Director General of TANECO Complex Leonid Alekhin told the meeting about the results of work of the enterprise in 2017. In particular, he said that the volume of processing of petroleum feedstocks at TANECO's facilities is expected to be 7.847 million tonnes, with a processing depth of 99.24 per cent and a yield of light oil products of 87.35 per cent.

In total, for the period from the beginning of the complex testing of the refinery till the end of this year, the volume of utilization and processing of petroleum feedstocks will amount to more than 50.5 million tonnes, he went on to report. Moreover, the successful implementation of the planned overhaul, which will allow the company to increase the service interval up to five years, was a significant event for the enterprise.

Summing up the meeting, Minnikhanov handed in the regional awards to the best employees of TANECO, the Department for the implementation of construction projects and contractors involved in the construction of further stages of the TANECO Complex.
