Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in summing-up meeting of the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the republic

27 December 2017, Wednesday

On December 27, speaking at a summing-up meeting of the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the budget revenues from the use of state and municipal property have made 4 billion 833 million roubles, which is 4 per cent higher than the plan.

"Despite this, we have reserves to increase profitability, and we need to pay special attention to this issue," he noted.

Making a keynote report at the meeting, Minister of Land and Property Relations of the republic Azat Khamaev said that at the same time, revenues from the management of state property are a little higher than 786 million roubles. "The task has been fulfilled by 127.5 percent," Khamaev said in his report. The lion's share of income - about 346 million roubles - is the dividends from the state block of shares in the republic.

The revenues from the sale of property and land resources to the budgets of the municipalities of the republic slightly exceeded 4 billion roubles. About 60 per cent of this amount accounts for land rental income.

During the reporting period, the revenues from the sale of property and land plots decreased. At the same time, real property rental income, dividends to municipal shares, and land rental income increased, with Agryz, Aksubaevo, Alekseevsk regions being the leaders and Tyulyachy, Cheremshan and Yutaza regions lagging behind.

The problem of profitability of municipal unitary enterprises remains acute, Pesoshin noted. Half of them are unprofitable. "In 2017, the financial statements of 126 municipal unitary enterprises were collected and analyzed.  The analysis has revealed 63 loss-making and 58 debt-ridden enterprises," he said.

"A thorough analysis should be conducted in every region with such enterprises to submit a report to the Ministry of Land and Property Relations on the reasons for the difficult financial situation and proposals to improve the situation," Tatarstan Prime Minister added.

At the end of his speech, Pesoshin thanked his colleagues for the work done in 2017 and handed in state awards of the republic.
