On January 9, speaking at the first in the current year regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that as many as 2,403,000 square meters of housing will be commissioned in Tatarstan in 2018.
He continued that as many as 2,408,100 square meters of housing (100,3 per cent of the annual plan) were commissioned in 2017. All commitments, made to the Federal Centre on commissioning of the housing, have been fully implemented.
“The implementation of the last year programme of the capital repair of outpatient centres is underway. The works are launched. The facilities will be gradually put into operation in January-February,” the minister reported.
Faizullin added that 87 houses for 9,711 apartments with the total area of 527,000 square meters are planned to be built under the programme of the Tatarstan Presidential State Housing Fund in the current year. Besides, as part of implementation of multi-apartment houses investment programme 120 houses for 17,297 apartments with the total area of 871,300 square meters, low-rise housing construction with the total area of 1,400,700 will be commissioned.
According to the minister, 297 orphans and 164 families of certain categories of citizens (large and young families, Chernobyl veterans, internally displaced persons and others) will be accommodated in 2018.
As part of the implementation of the programmes of construction and capital repair of socio-cultural facilities 28 rural clubs, 10 buildings of Settlement Councils (Executive Committees), multipurpose sports facilities, 16 Block-modular skiing centres, 44 medical and obstetric centres, 11 outpatient clinics will be constructed. Major repairs at 27 facilities of the State Veterinary Service, 19 facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic and 7 healthcare facilities refitted with medical equipment and furniture will be carried out.
The construction of new agro-industrial parks will be continued.
