The Finance Ministry has opposed the growth of non-oil and gas taxes

Disbursement of market revenues and increase the tax burden on the oil and gas sector in Russia is not possible, said Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, speaking at the Collegium of the Ministry.

«Still think it impossible to use for additional expenses market revenues or increase the tax burden on non-oil sector. This, ultimately, will only lead to slowing economic growth and create macroeconomic risks. We’ve been through,» said Siluanov.

An enlarged meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Finance was also attended by Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gayzatullin.
