Use of electronic state services increased by 48 % for eight months of 2012

5.5 mln requests, 114 000 applications have been sent to the Portal of state and municipal services, more than 2.5 mln people signed up for the electronic queue and made 1.1 mln electronic payments for the sum of 416.5 mln roubles in January-August 2012.

In comparison with the same period of the last year, the growth made 48 percent. Such information was presented by Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Anisa Gainullina at a briefing at the RT Government House.

To the point, electronic services were launched in Tatarstan in 2009. Currently, 131 services are available for citizens in electronic format. User’s activity has increased due to the Portal interface change. “In April we made the Portal of state services easier to understand by making the registration procedure clearer,” she said. Every Tatarstan citizen can now register a personal account.

As for the system “People’s control”, it was launched in April 2012. On the federal level it was recognized as the most technologically convenient and transparent tool of interaction between the civil society and authorities.

Therefore, Tatarstan’s experience is being adopted by other regions. On September 7 the system was officially launched in Primorye. Udmurtia and some other Russian regions are also interested in the system.

For five months 3000 requests were sent to the system “People’s control”, the number of users made 48000. The system enables improving activity of government employees and service sector.
