Russian international reserves down $5.5 bln in week

(Kazan, February 28, Tatar-inform). Russia's international reserves fell $5.5 billion to $524.0 billion in the week to February 22, the Central Bank said on Thursday, reports Interfax.

The reserves stood at $529.5 billion on February 15.

They consist of highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the CB and Russian government, including foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights, the reserve position at the IMF and other reserve assets.
