High-speed railway service is planned to be provided on the Moscow – N. Novgorod – Kazan line. A trip from Kazan to Moscow will take 3.5 hours, Gorky Railway’s Kazan branch deputy chief told journalists.
A special programme had been developed and adopted by the general contractor, a company in the Leningrad Region, he said. Developers from Yekaterinburg and the Tyumen Region are contractors.
Arrival in Kazan will take place in the northern part of the city, at the Kazan-2 railway station.
