Tatarstan housing companies owe heating suppliers over 1 billion roubles

Heating delivery to residences and social facilities begins in Tatarstan. Based on the Executive Committee’s decision, the heating season in Kazan should begin on Thursday. In Naberezhnye Chelny it began on 17 September.

In the summer, all companies who have agreements for heating supply with JSC Generating Company and JSC Tatteplosbyt, including larger management companies and homeowners associations, were notified that heating supply in 2013-2014 was possible on two conditions: that consumers hold a properly executed heating season preparedness acts and have no debts for supplied thermal energy and heat carrier within heating supply agreementa.

Not all housing companies have, however, settled their debts to suppliers. The situation could cause a delay in the heating delivery schedule.

The list of long-term debtors who owe millions includes Privolzhsky District management company in Kazan and some others in other cities and regions of Tatarstan.

In total, the debt of housing companies within agreements with heating suppliers as of 1 September was 1,155,985 thousand roubles, reports the JSC Generating Company’s press service.
