Obama and the Republicans do not reach an agreement on state debt

At a meeting of U.S. President Barack Obama and the leaders of the Republican party was not taken any concrete decision on raising the debt ceiling, by infromation of the press office of the White House. According to Press Secretary Jay Carney White House, Republicans presented their proposals and Obama said that "he hopes for progress in the negotiations of the parties." On the eve the Republicans in Congress have proposed to increase temporarily  the upper limit of public debt to avoid default.
