On October 8, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and General Electric Vice-chairman John Rice discussed cooperation in the sphere of modernization of energy and social infrastructure of the republic.
In particular, current supply of equipment and modernization of energy facilities in Tatarstan using GE state-of-the-art technologies, projects in the sphere of oil refining and water treatment, modernization of medical infrastructure were discussed at the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov was talking about GE as a reliable partner of the republic and importance of strategic partnership in solving problems of power shortage and reliable power supply, and successful modernization of the Kazan CHP-3 by GE and TAIF group.
According to John Rice, GE is proud to support the development and modernization of Tatarstan infrastructure in those spheres where the company has got unique technical expertise and experience.
