1 mln 837.7 thousand square metres of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On October 23, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, first deputy minister of construction of the republic Aleksei Frolov informed that 1 mln and 837.7 thousand square metres of housing were commissioned in the republic as of October 22, 2015.

The meeting was held by President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov. 

According to Aleksei Frolov, 114 houses were built under the social mortgage programme, 21 houses will be built under the rental housing construction programme in 2015, 6 of which have already been commissioned.

Implementation of the programme aimed at improving living conditions of WWII veterans is underway. Construction of 23 houses for 161 veterans is carried out.

Also, 331 residential facilities have been provided for orphan children.

Three regional programmes, - modernization of primary medical and sanity aid, construction of universal sports grounds, and construction of housing for district policemen have been completed.
