Rustam Minnikhanov opens first children’s technopark “Kvantorium” in Naberezhnye Chelny

On December 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the Agency of strategic initiatives Andrey Nikitin, Deputy head of the expert department of Tatarstan President’s Administration Galina Makhakova, Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science took part in opening of the first children’s technopark “Kvantorium” in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan.

Tatarstan is one of pilot regions to implement the project of the Agency of strategic initiatives and Russian Ministry of Education and Science “New model of the system of additional education”. The first two technoparks opened in Khanty-Mansisk and Nefteyugansk at the end of November.

The technoparks are aimed at scientific work of children, training talented children, organization of conditions for their development and vocational education.

Opening the technopark, Rustam Minnikhanov noted the importance of this event, and thanked all services that took part in its creation. He looked around all eight laboratories and spoke to the students.
