Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in presidium session of Russian Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development

On February 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in presidium session of Russian Presidential Council for economic modernization and innovative development held by Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow. The session was dedicated to the creation of new institute - the Agency for technological development.

According to Dmitry Medvedev, “it will not be just another federal executive agency but a non-profit organization that will achieve breakeven in prospect.”

Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov made a keynote report at the session. President of All Russia Public Organization “Delovaya Rossiya” (Business Russia) Aleksei Repik told about the functional model of the Agency for technological development.

The new agency aims to help businesses finding technologies in Russia and abroad, render legal and consultancy support, and collect information about existing Russian and foreign prospective solutions.
