Tatneft produces record amount of oil for the last 20 years

On June 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an annual shareholders meeting of PJSC Tatneft Oil Company. The company Director General Nail Maganov made a keynote report on the main results of work in 2015.

It was noted that Tatneft produced 26,9 mln tonnes of oil for the last 20 years (by 2.7 per cent more than in 2014), 352 new field wells have been put into operation.

According to an independent audit company Miller & Lents, Tatneft has increased estimated reserves by 2.1 per cent in 2015. TANECO oil-refinery plant showed good results having refined 8.6 mln of oil products.

Tatneft economic potential helped ensuring timely investing of priority projects and financing of all costs and payments, including capital investments, redemption of the long-term loans and dividends. The total amount of investments made 97.2 mln rubles.

The increase of oil production and oil recovery at traditional oil fields in Tatarstan due to the implementation of new technologies and equipment are priority strategic tasks of the company for 2016.
