On July 6, at his meeting with Ambassador of Finland to Russia Mr Hannu Himanen during a two-day visit of Finnish partners to Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Finland established good business relations.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the delegation and thanked Mr Ambassador for his help in the organization of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Helsinki on November 15-17, 2015, when meetings and negotiations with leadership of Finland, and Tatars living in Finland were held.
Finland is one of leading foreign partners of the republic, and though the trade turnover has decreased our business relations are on a high level, Minnikhanov said.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, it is important to create new joint business projects and establish new enterprises.
Finnish companies have high production excellence, and cooperation can be developed in engineering, energy, transport, construction, high technologies, educational and scientific spheres. Moreover, Finland puts much emphasis on innovations, high technologies, technoparks and industrial enterprises.
