Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting on capital repair of multi-apartment houses and other facilities

On July 2, at Tatarstan Government House, speaking at a regional video-conference with participation of all municipalities, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that capital repair of multi-apartment houses has been started at 790 of 830 objects included in the programme.

Faizullin reported on the implementation of regional programmes in terms of construction of houses and social facilities, as well as capital repair.

In 2016 the funding of the capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses amounted to 4, 725 billion roubles. As many as 830 multi-apartment houses with a total area of 4.7 million square meters will be repaired. It is planned to improve living conditions for 194.5 thousand people.

As of July 1, works are underway at all educational facilities included in the programme. In total, 95 schools for the sum of 1.9 bln roubles, including 15 special schools and 53 pre-school organizations will be repaired.

Faizullin also reported on the implementation of the programme to relocate citizens from dilapidated houses.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the issue is under special control and asked to speed up the work on the construction of houses under this programme.
