As many as 1 mln 561 thousand square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On September 3, at Tatarstan Government House, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipalities, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that 1 mln 561.1 thousand square meters of housing, which makes 102 per cent of the plan, have been commissioned in Tatarstan since the beginning of the year.

The construction of houses for WWII veterans is underway. The issues of providing housing for orphan children is being addressed. Funds for the purchase of apartments and houses to the liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster, migrants from the Far North, and persons discharged from military service have been allocated from the federal budget.

Eighteen district policemen will move to new flats by the end of the year. Ten facilities have been already completed, another eight will be done in the near future. As many as 38 new rural clubs have been built, another seven clubs are almost finished.

The construction of district veterinary stations, rural health posts, and modular medical ambulance stations is underway.
