Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of the Cabinet of Ministers on the forecast of social and economic development of Tatarstan for 2017

On September 23, at a session of region Cabinet of Ministers chaired by Acting Prime Minister Aleksei Pesoshin, Deputy Minister of economy of the republic Oleg Pelevin informed that the forecasted volume of Gross Regional Product is 1 trillion and 929 bln roubles. The growth of 103,1-104,2 per cent is expected in 2017-2019.

According to results of the current year, the industrial production index is expected to be 103,2 per cent, the volume of shipped products – 1 trillion and 931 bln roubles.

In 2017, the industrial production index is expected to be 105,1 per cent, in 2018 - 106,5 per  cent, in 2019 - 102,9 per cent. The volume of agricultural output is expected to make 230 bln roubles in 2016. It is planned to build 2,4 mln square metres of housing every year.

Deputy minister also reported that the growth rate of retail trade turnover will make 101,5-102,5 per cent.

As for the social sphere, Pelevin noted that the unemployment is at relatively low level (14,6 thousand unemployed people).
