Gross agricultural output made 184.2 bln roubles by results of nine months in Tatarstan

On November 5, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported on economic results of the agricultural industry for nine months of the current year.

The minister reported that the gross agricultural output made 184.2 bln roubles, the index of production - 106.5 per cent. In total, the gross agricultural output is expected to make 235.2 bln roubles. This result will be achieved by increasing grain harvesting by 1.3 times, sugar beet –114 per cent, meat production – 3.7 per cent, and milk production – 1.3 per cent.

The receipts of agricultural organizations and farms have made 63.5 bln roubles.  

Akhmetov noted that the agricultural labour is underestimated today, and that the average wages in the industry have made 18.4 thousand roubles.

Rustam Minnikhanov asked to pay special attention to this issue.
