Managing partner of Sberbank's Venture Fund Viktor Orlovsky delivers a lecture at Tatarstan Government House

On August 1, at the Government House of the republic, Managing partner of Sberbank's Venture Fund Viktor Orlovsky delivered a lecture on the development of the digital economy, as well as new consumption patterns in modern society.

Acting Tatarstan President Alexey Pesoshin, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, heads of regional ministries and agencies attended the lecture.

Welcoming Orlovsky, Pesoshin stressed that the Sberbank's Venture Fund has become widely known in professional circles, both in Russia and abroad, in a relatively short period. "The Fund has a lot of interesting and successfully implemented projects in the field of information and communication technologies," he said.

"I am very pleased to speak before you. The whole country knows that the Tatarstan Government is one of the most innovative governments. My colleagues told me a lot about how successful you are in introducing various innovations, advanced technologies in the sphere of document management, personnel management, key performance indicators and much more. It causes great respect,” Orlovsky said.

Delivering the lecture, Orlovsky spoke about the main stages of the development of the digital economy in Russia and the world, the economic and social benefits of these processes, key trends and technologies that serve as drivers for the growth of the digital economy.

Besides, the lecturer touched on the topic of modern consumption patterns, in particular, he talked about various methods of assessing their indicators, use, and changes in consumption indicators because of the influence of different socio-economic factors.
