Russia’s International reserves on August 1 was $418,447 billion, said the Bank of Russia.
Thus, for a July, the international reserves increased by $6,2 billion.
International reserves are highly liquid financial assets held by the Bank of Russia and the government of the Russian Federation. They consist of assets in foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights (SDRs, special drawing rights, unit of account used by the International monetary Fund, IMF) reserve position in IMF and other reserve assets.
