On August 5, speaking at a video-conference held by Acting Tatarstan President Alexey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with the participation of all municipalities, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Alexey Frolov said that according to the results of the first six months of the current year, Tatarstan has become the leader in Volga Federal District in the volume of commissioned housing.
Frolov said that according to the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), 27 million 984.1 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned in Russia within the first six months of 2017, which makes 88.7 per cent as compared to the same period last year. Only four entities, including Tatarstan, have shown positive dynamics to the corresponding period of the previous year.
"According to the results of the first six months of 2017, Tatarstan has become the leader in Volga Federal District in the volume of commissioned housing. As of August 4, as many as 1 million 321.5 thousand square meters of housing, which is 55 per cent of the total plan and 105 per cent to the corresponding period of the previous year, have been put into operation in the republic," he said.
