Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding

On August 28, at a board session of OAO Tatneftekhiminvest-holding held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim pharmaceutical company Azat Bikmurzin said that further development of Nizhnekamskneftekhim is possible only by means of new basic capacities.

With the auspices of TAIF company Nizhnekamskneftekhim is implementing the programme of strategic development which implies construction of new and expansion of existing production facilities.

The main project of the development programme is creation of new olefin complex with the capacity of 1,2 mln tonnes of ethylene per year.

The framework agreement on implementation of the first stage of the project on construction of ethylene complex was signed with Linde company during St. Petersburg economic forum on June 2 , 2017.

The strategy implies creation of new capacities and development of key areas. Synthetic rubbers that are supplied to global tyre companies Continental, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin and Goodyear have a special place here.

It was announced at the session that Oil, gas and chemical forum 2017 dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Nizhnekamskneftekhim will be held at Kazan yarmarka exhibition center on September 6-8.

Four exhibitions, nine conferences and five roundtables will be held during the forum. Director General of Kazan yarmarka Lev Semenov informed that 212 enterprises from 45 Russian regions and 7 countries, including 42 companies from the Republic of Tatarstan will take part in the event.
