Issues related to preparation for WorldSkills-2019 Championship to be held in Kazan discussed at Tatarstan Government House
On November 10, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting to discuss issues related to preparation for the WorldSkills-2019 Championship to be held in Kazan, as well as experience of participation in the WorldSkills-2017 in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov noted the need to think of what can be learned from the Abu Dhabi’s experience as part of preparation for the WorldSkills-2019 Championship. This applies both to design decisions and organizational issues, he added.
As noted at the meeting, the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will be the main venue to hold the event in Kazan in 2019.
Making a report at the meeting, Director General of Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt State Unitary Enterprise Adel Khusnutdinov compared the features of the ADNEC Exhibition Complex in Abu Dhabi and the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Complex.
The meeting discussed possible additions to the existing project of the Kazan Expo Centre.
