A summing-up meeting of the regional State Alcohol Inspectorate

On January 22, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a summing-up meeting of the regional State Alcohol Inspectorate .

Head of the Inspectorate Zhaudat Akhmetkhanov made a keynote report at the meeting.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Pesoshin said that last year the republic managed to maintain the stability in the market of alcohol and alcohol products. "Alcohol products are traditionally a commodity that are of particular economic, political and social significance," he said. “Therefore, creating the conditions for predictable development of the industry is a priority task in the alcohol market of the republic. The purposeful and effective work of the regional State Alcohol Inspectorate in this area ensures the competitiveness of enterprises that legally produce and sell alcohol products, deprives the shadow business of its advantages, increases sales of quality alcohol, reduces the level of poisoning from surrogate products," he added.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Danil Volkov.
