The Finance Ministry has no plans to introduce a tax on exchange operations of foreign currency population

The Finance Ministry has no plans to introduce taxation of operations on currency exchange population, reported the Deputy Minister of Finance Ilya Trunin.

In the media on Monday there appeared information about the alleged impending intentions of the government to impose a tax on the income of physical persons on foreign currency transactions of the population.

«It is impossible to determine income when making transactions for currency exchange. No taxes on such operations we do not plan to enter,» — said Trunin.
