The Finance Ministry has proposed to retain the income tax of 13%

Income tax at 13% — «a good principle», the Finance Ministry proposes not to change it, but the final decision will be made by the government, said the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, first Deputy Prime Minister Anton Siluanov.

«Thirteen percent, that’s the last time we paid it all — I think it is a good principle of taxation of income in order to avoid the possibility of evasion. Therefore, we propose not to change the situation with the income tax,» — said Siluanov, speaking at the session, in the framework of SPIEF.

«The final decision will be taken by the government,» he added.
