The Finance Ministry raised its forecast for a budget surplus in 2018 in several times — up to 2 trillion 139 billion rubles, follows from the draft amendments to the law on the Federal budget for 2018 and for the period 2019-2020 published on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts.

The total forecasted amount of Federal budget revenues in 2018 is increased in comparison with the current budget law, with 17,073 trillion rubles to 18,942 trillion rubles (1,869 trillion rubles).

Total expenditure will increase from 16,591 trillion rubles to 16,803 trillion rubles ($212 billion rubles.

The Federal budget surplus will increase to 2,139 trillion rubles from 481,741 billion rubles, laid down in the law on the budget for 2018, predicts the Ministry of Finance.
