A regular meeting of the Regional Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of Worldskills Championship - 2019 in Kazan

On December 3, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and Director General of the Young Professionals Union (Worldskills Russia) Robert Urazov held a regular meeting of the Regional Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of Worldskills Championship - 2019 in Kazan.

“This is a strategic project for Tatarstan” Minnikhanov emphasized. He also added that the final of the 7th National Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) will take place on May 20-24, 2019 in Kazan. During this event, the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will be tested and the work will be organized in all functional areas.

He emphasized that the world championship will be held in Kazan on August 22-27, 2019.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Rafis Burganov informed about the preparation of the competitive programme and the development of the WorldSkills movement.

The meeting was also attended by Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gayzatullin.
