The draft budget of the Republic of Tatarstan reviewed at the State Council

A meeting of the Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agricultural Affairs took place on October 15. Deputies reviewed the draft budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013 and the planning period of 2014 and 2015 and the results of the program of agricultural development for the 3rd quarter of this year.
The draft Law "On budget RT for 2013 and the planning period of 2014 and 2015," and the main forecasts of economic development of the republic committee members briefed the Minister of Economy RT Midhat Shagiakhmetov and Deputy Minister of Finance Alla Anfimova. They noted that the project takes into account the assessment of the prospects for the world economy and the economy of Russia. Involved in the discussion of the draft budget MPs drew the attention of the government on the need to maintain social spending and to support agricultural producers. The bill recommended by the National Council for the first reading.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolay Yakushkin reported on the problems of agriculture as a result of the consequences of the country's entry to the WTO. He noted that without increasing budget support for domestic agriculture it will not stand competition against foreign manufacturers.
