The deputies removed from the agenda the consideration of the bill, which was proposed to make changes to the republican budget of the current year, at the 11th meeting of the State Council of Tatarstan. It provided for the abolition of the indexation of wages of government employees of the republic, scheduled from October 2020.
“I ask you to remove the issue from the agenda due to the search by the President of Tatarstan of funds for the indexation wages of government employees,” chairman of the Committee on budget, taxes and finances Leonid Yakunin said.
With a majority of votes, the parliamentarians removed the issue from discussion.
