Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund’s draft budget approved by Tatarstan State Council’s Social Policy Committee

At the meeting of Tatarstan State Council’s Social Policy Committee, Territorial Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan presented its draft budget for 2014 and the planning period of 2015 and 2016.

The budget is forecasted to receive 33.5 billion rubles in 2014, 39.2 - in 2015 and 40.7 - in 2016. In 2014, the expenses will amount to 34.9 billion rubles, creating a budget deficit of 1.4 billion rubles.

Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund’s subventions will constitute the lion’s share of the income – 25.6 billion rubles, whilst inter-budget transfers from the republic’s budget will account for 7.7 billion rubles. These means will be used to finance medical services and target programs.

34.6 billion rubles will be spent on free medical help in Tatarstan in 2014.

The committee approved the draft budget and forwarded the decision to the State Council’s Budget, Tax and Finance Committee.
