Ildar Khalikov: "The Pension Fund authorities are facing challenging tasks"

On January 16, speaking at a meeting of the Council of Russian Pension Fund in Tatarstan, Head of Tatarstan Office Marsel Imamov said that in 2014 the number of pensioners in Tatarstan increased by 15,000 to make 1,090,000 people. He continued that the average old-age pension increased by 8.3 per cent and amounted to about 11,000 roubles, while the average pension in the republic makes 10,415 roubles. 

The meeting considered the results of work of the Tatarstan Office of the Pension Fund in 2014 and tasks for 2015.

Making a report at the meeting, Imamov reminded that in 2014 labor pensions were indexed twice: by 6.5 per cent on February,1 and by another 1.7 per cent on April 1. Starting on April, 1 social pensions were increased by 17.1 per cent. Budget expenditures of the Tatarstan Office of the Pension Fund made 150 billion roubles. The premium for compulsory pension insurance amounted to 85 billion roubles, which is 102 per cent more than the planned figure, for compulsory health insurance - 17.7 billion roubles or 103.4 per cent of the plan.

As many as 20 per cent of the residents of the republic became participants of the programme of state co-financing of pensions from the beginning of its implementation in Tatarstan. The state transferred 1.2 billion roubles to their retirement accounts.

The number of certificates issued in republic on maternity capital from the implementation of the relevant law made more than 170,000. 

According to Imamov, debts related to insurance premiums make 3.8 billion roubles, of which 1.6 billion are debts of individual entrepreneurs.

In 2014 the Pension Fund authorities in Tatarstan provided almost 3.5 million public services, with 71 per cent of them being in electronic form. "Now we are improving the system of electronic services for individuals and legal entities in order to improve its quality and availability. This is one of the major challenges in 2015,” Imamov said. 

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, who took part in the meeting, thanked the Tatarstan Office of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation for efficient work and handed in awards to the best workers of the field.
