Rustam Minnikhanov visits exposition of Tatarstan agro-industrial complex at exhibition center “Kazanskaya yarmarka”

On February 18, within the framework of Volga agricultural forum (February 18-20) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited exposition of Tatarstan agro-industrial complex.

Accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the exposition of local agricultural producers and holdings. 

It was noted that Tatarstan gross agricultural product made 188,8 billion roubles in 2014. 

Information about forecast production was presented at the exposition “2015 - the year of profitable plant growing”.

Rustam Minnikhanov was told about new plant growing technologies. 

Marat Akhmetov focused on innovations used for import substitution and staff training at Kazan state agricultural university. 

Director General of “Prosto moloko” Marat Muratov, who took part in the event, presented company’s produce and geoportal that includes an interactive map of agricultural lands, data visualization and automation of management process. 

Minnikhanov also looked around expositions of “Pestrechinka”, “Ak Bars” holding, Chelny khleb, Zelenodolsk dairy plant, and other companies. 

Later on, Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an extended session of Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
