Welcoming the guests, Khalikov noted that such meetings have become a tradition.

"It is important that our relations continue at a good level. I hope that this visit will be another step to expand mutually beneficial cooperation," he said.

Khalikov also expressed his confidence that the meeting of the joint working group and the visit of the Czech delegation in Tatarstan will be effective for both parties.

"We have had a lot of meetings and contacts in industrial, educational and other spheres with the Czech Republic. I am sure that they will begin to yield results in 2015-2016,” he continued.

Khalikov said that the visit of the Czech delegation coincided with a significant event for the republic. Tomorrow, on June 9, 2015, a solemn opening of Innopolis innovative satellite town near Kazan will take place. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend the event.

Ildar Khalikov invited Czech colleagues to take part in the opening of Innopolis. He briefly presented the project, as well as the other most interesting innovative projects being implemented in the republic.
