Rustam Minnikhanov meets Crimean delegation

Rustam Minnikhanov said he was very glad to see such a representative delegation and that Tatarstan and Crimea have established close trust relationships. He added that Tatarstan is a multi-ethnic republic where representatives of different religions live in peace and harmony.
Rustam Minnikhanov told about work aimed at preservation of the Tatar language, national culture and spiritual values carried out in the republic.
Crimean delegates were told about online language school called Ana Tele, TNV-planeta TV channel, and social network Tatar ile.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that though Crimea had necessary human potential and natural resources it has not been developing for the last 25 years. “I am sure that within a short time Crimea will take the lead in living standards and socioeconomic development. You have got everything you need. Peace and concord are the most important things for the region,” he said.
The guests thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the reception and expressed their hope that the relationships between the regions would become closer.
