Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of the Club of investors of the Republic of Tatarstan

On December 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Club of investors of the republic at the Kazan Kremlin where a film about results of investment activity of the republic was shown.

Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the regional leadership is looking for new forms of joint work with investors, and direct contacts are important especially with representatives of foreign countries.  “Currency fever, western sanctions, inhibited access to foreign technologies and capital is causing certain problems. However, these problems offer competitive advantage for creative investors, who can use the current situation,” Minnikhanov said.

He added that political aspects should not affect economic relations, and all companies working in the republic are residents of Russia. Proper good economic relations will speed up the solution of political problems.

Chief executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina told about the investment portal of the republic, its functions and sections.

Director General of OOO “Armstrong building products” Aleksei Evdokimov thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for his support and told about achievements of the company.

Director of Haier Electrical Appliances CEO Van Shoujun expressed his confidence that Tatarstan would achieve good results in 2016, and the Chinese company will make its contribution. He informed that the construction of the plant is completed by 90 per cent.
