Rustam Minnikhanov attends events within the framework of World Economic Forum 2016 in Davos

The forum is taking place on January 20-23 in Davos. Its main theme is “Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. Besides, the agenda includes regional safety, climatic changes, situation around large wholesale goods and other issues.

In particular, the session “Eurasia and Modern Silk Road” (Congress Centre, Aspen 2) discussed the implementation of the New Silk Road project and prospects of regional development in Eurasia.

The project is important not only for Russia and China, but for other countries, being part of the global economy as well, since it covers territories that produce about 55 per cent of the world GDP and have about 75 per cent of developed energy resources. The session is of special interest to the domestic business.

The session “The Future of Europe” discussed how Europe could readjust if facing political polarization, economic stratification and threats to security and how foundation of the European Union would be strengthened.

Sessions “The Future of Education: lessons in uncertainty”, “New Energy Equation” “The Future of the brand “Made in China” were also held within the forum.
