Ildar Khalikov holds meeting on preparation for European Judo Championship in Kazan
On February 8, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on preparation for European Judo Championship in Kazan (April 20-24, 2016).
Ildar Khalikov noted that this is a big international event and the republic has experience in holding such sport events, and added that a 20-year-old student of Olimpiisky sports school (Naberezhnye Chelny) Niyaz Bilalov, a multiple winner of different tournaments will be on the Russian team.
Tatarstan Minister of youth affairs and sport Vladimir Leonov made a report on the preparation for European Judo Championship in Kazan.
Tickets will be available from March 2016 and cost 150-300 rubles.
The meeting discussed organizing issues, including transportation of sportsmen, catering and medical services, and safety assurance of the event.
