Permanent international platform for implementation of innovative projects starts working in Tatarstan in 2016

On February 3, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a session of the board of trustees of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (IVF RT) on issues of a permanent international platform for implementation of innovative projects.

The platform was developed by IVF RT, the Fund for the Promotion of the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere, Russian Venture Company by the order of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov that he gave during the 15th and 10th Kazan venture fairs in 2015. The new platform will start functioning in 2016. The accelerator programme for innovative companies will be one of the main functions of the platform.

Pavel Korolev, Director of Pulsar Venture Capital, a subsidiary of IVF RT that specializes in acceleration of startups, presented the programme at the session.  

The programme will be implemented at Russian and Kazan venture fairs and will become the main mechanism for developing technological projects. Best companies selected under the programme will be presented at Russian and Kazan venture fairs.
