Tatarstan President: Energy and resource saving are our competitive spheres

On March 15, at a session of Tatarstan Government on the implementation of state programme “Energy saving and increasing of energy efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014-2020”, the priority areas of state policy in the sphere of energy saving were pointed out.

They are implementation of investment programmes on modernization of production capacities, development of distributed generation using combined generation of energy, integration of energy management systems in the industry and energy service agreements in public sector, transfer to gas-engine fuel, informational support and promotion of energy-efficient life style, implementation of programmes on professional development of workers of the public sector, intensifying control of supervisory agencies over the execution of requirements of energy efficiency.

It was noted that the use of cheaper fuel, in particular natural gas, is one of priority areas in the sphere of energy and resource saving.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, and Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn took part in the event.
