On September 1, at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov chaired a regular board meeting of the Power Generation Company which summed up results of work of the company for the first six months of the current year.
Power generation in the reported period amounted to 5.938 mln Kwh, which is one per cent less as compared to the same period last year and five per cent less than planned. Residential heat supply also dropped and made 5.934 thousand Gcal against 6.241 thousand Gcal last year. Reduced electricity production is due to the tendency to reduce the market price with an ever-increasing fuel price.
In the first six months of the current year, the company's revenue made 17.813 mln roubles, which is one per cent more than last year's level and four per cent less than expected. The work of the company to eliminate accounts receivable was appreciated. The company managed to reduce it by 792 mln roubles, as compared to the same period last year. As of July 1 this year, it makes 1 458 mln roubles.
The Board also discussed issues to improve the reliability and fail-safety of the Power Generation Company.
The work on preparation for the next heating season is underway. The repair and reconstruction of seven energy boilers, six turbines, two generators, as well as 82.459-meter-long heat network pipelines are planned.
Summing up the meeting, Khalikov noted that the results of the company activities in the first half of the year are encouraging and wished its leadership to fix the obtained results.
