Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is considering the possibility of introducing the new saving certificates with insurance in DIA

Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation plans the new saving certificates. They will be insured by the Deposit Insurance Agency on the terms of a regular deposit. This was announced by Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Moiseev.
"This is our long-standing idea related to the introduction of state deposit certificates ... now 90% of savings certificates are sold by Sberbank, because there are big risks associated with laundering. We take these risks into account in our draft law “, - Moiseyev has said.
The amount of insurance payment on the savings certificate will be 1.4 million rubles, as well as now on deposit insurance in banks, he has specified.
